Band is doing sight and sound, we haven't got any information from the studio operator that we worked with, so we gotta be patient a bit for it. Hey guysss, another thing to tell y'all. The band's recording sess is almost done, two more songs to go and then we will do the mixing and mastering. I'm stoked.

Ramen Days.

Hey what's up! I recently just arrived at Changi International Airport, and now I'm here typing all those words and lots of memories that I might not describe because they are too precious. I had a great time travelling Japan for 11 days, ate lots of noodlez and shop some of the rarest records I've been looking for. Japan was awesome, indeed. Huge city, rad Tokyo midtown, large numbers of people, shibuya intersection, cliche peace sign, and of course the vending machines. One day I will surely come back because I miss Japan so much for whatever reasons. Thank you for making this year the best year of my life. I won't forget you.

New Last.Fm Lacks Big Tyme! and I wonder why all my fucking recently played tracks are off sight. Sigh*

"Punks" According To Fucked Up.

1) Gutter Punks: Can't afford to make mohawks, so they have natty dreads and live on moving trains and also in "gutters".

2) Whacktivists: Are "punks" but don't listen to music - are more interested in making politics. Have punk style but listen to Indigo Girls and Ratatat.

3) Skinheads: The racist kind - are fat and wear Lonsdale clothes from outlet malls and have short girlfriends. Listen to obscure UK and Canadian racist oi music on CDRs.

3) Posers: Listen to punk music like the Sex Pistols but also Rage Against the Machine. Are mostly in highschool. They wear punk/goth clothing like leather jackets (new only) but also black bell bottom jeans and wierd shaped sunglasses.

4) Old Punks: Wear 20 year old tshirts because they spent all their money on records and have no jobs so they can't afford to look sharp. Have strange jobs and did zines a long time ago. Have grey hair and/or are balding and make everyone else feel depressed at shows and worried that they are looking at their own future.

5) Hardcore Punks: Wear only band tshirts and cut off shorts. Very short cropped hair. Super clean and carry deodorant in a bag with them.

6) Hipster Hardcore Punks: Like above, but also wear "limited" baseball caps, xxxlarge tshirts and "limited" shows. Only listen to Lil' Wayne and some modern Hardcore bands.

7) Indie Punks: Wear grunge clothes, but a little tighter. Move very slowly and smoke lots of weed and are super "Creative". Also ride bikes everywhere.

8) Punks: Who knows what they look like, or who they are.

9) Hipster punks: Like mostly dance music like Uffie and Daft Punk, but also some punk bands that are amazing (Fucked Up) and are able to transcend boundaries. Wear mostly clothes from American Apparel, and also only work at American Apparel, or Vice Magazine (interning only).

10) Fucked Up: Wear only free Fred Perry, Evisu, Burberry, Ben Sherman, and G9 Harrington Jackets, and other selected vintage styles.

Yeap, we're gonna be having our second recording session on Saturday, and that'd be putting up more guitar layers and I'm gonna do vocal duties. Honestly, I'm a bit nervous not knowing how this shit will turn up, but I'll try my best to make a positive attempt. Yeah, we've recorded almost all the drum tracks, several guitars and bass tracks. Hopefully by the end of our next shift at the studio, we'd be able to finish some more. Thanks to all the fellas who helped us out and sticking at the studio, especially Andri for letting us borrowed the guitar. Cheers, mate!

Moshington D.C Killed It.

Magrudergrind Show was fucking dope. They played really intense, great drummings...energetic vocals, it couldn't be done much better. Vicious might not be enuf to describe their set that day, classic fuckers. Well, I really hope they'd fly all the way back to Indonesia for another show.

Oh and one more thing Chris, Puuuhhhlease bring along Coke Bust and Blank Stare the next time you visit Indonesia :P

Perth Express - Discography

Metal-tinged crust/hardcore band from Germany, this band will surely blow your ears off. Completely underrated and they deserve more plays, one of the illest.

Dag Nasty - Can I Say (Reissue)

Dag Nasty is possibly one of the best bands ever existed, at least that what I think. Combining the urgency of early hardcore/punk predecessors, with their own signature of heart-wrenching melodies, Dag Nasty successfully get so many recognitions throughout the years. Along with Soulside, Rites of Spring, Moss Icon, Gray Matter and other D.C natives, The Nasty is highly regarded to be one of the earliest "emotive hardcore" sound that emerged from the D.C area. Extremely great band, I could almost listen to this album every single day.

The Slits - Cut (1979)

Late 70s dub/funk influenced female fronted punk group, The Slits gave punk a whole new perspective to look at. Additionally, what's good about this band is that they have this Marvin Gaye cover song "I Heard It Through the Grapevine", fucking epic. Hell, it couldn't get better than this.

It's looking great from the outside, haven't checked out the inside though but I reckon it's gonna be such a blast to experience the place. I'm so stoked for the Japan trip, could not possibly imagine how it will turn out. But yeah, I was thinking that maybe it might cheer me up from what I've lost. Life's a bitch and I have to deal with it, I just don't want to run in the same circles over and over again. This time I gotta break out and spin my life back on track.

Oh well, it's just one of those days when you feel you gotta punch the clock and say: YOU'LL NEVER GET THE BEST OF ME. Yet, life keeps running wild, like a blaze of wind calling up my name and tell me that the race ain't over yet.

Review Film: Be Kind Rewind

Michel Gondry has successfully made one of the most refreshing yet creative movies. Additionally, with the help of such casts like Jack Black and Mos Def, Gondry was able to operate in certain things that have never been thought before. A simple story about trial and error, and doing your own stuff. These two characters that applied in this movie, added some spice up and eventually gave this movie something to care about, which is very exciting for me to see. It's definitely a comedy movie with strong edge in it, and you know you don't wanna miss this!

Review Film: Days of Being Wild

Another beautifully cinema made by the one and only Wong Kar Wai, Days of Being Wild is an instant visual of delusion among contemporary realm of love, loss and rejection. The movie perfectly captured every second of emptiness that drawn inside out, right from the very beginning of the story. The casts were great and they were all acting champ, WKW didn't pick the wrong ones. Yet, what I really like about seeing this movie is the melancholic feeling which I can not avoid for some reasons. Thus, I can never tell you how much I love every twist and details that WKW offered in this movie. I reckon you should check out this movie if you haven't. Trully magnificent!

Superbly produced original movie soundtrack of Night of the Living Dead, it gives me total creep. Bleak atmosphere, manic hysteria that comes out from those pieces that all-come together into one package of serious nightmare. Mind-bending, it sneaks in the back of my head, lurking me in my sleep and haunting me in my dream. Instant classic you don't wanna miss!
